1. WHAT KIND OF MEDIA
INSITITUATIONS MIGHT
DISTRIBUTE YOU MEDIA PRODUCT
AND WHY?
2. PUBLISHERS
To publisher my music magazine, I would like the publisher IPC would distribute my
product. With more than 60 iconic media brands, IPC creates content for multiple
platforms, across print, online, mobile, tablets and events.
As the UK's leading consumer magazine publisher we engage with 26m UK adults -
almost two thirds of UK women and 42% of UK men.
Our award winning portfolio of websites reaches over 25 million users globally every
month. So by using a well known and represent-able company it is more like for my
magazine to be notice from my targeted audience and for it to be successful.
“IPC Media is the UK's leading
consumer magazine and digital
publisher”
IPC media publishes a wide range of different types
of magazines, it doesn’t only concentrates on media.
The most popular media magazines IPC distribute
are magazines such as:- Look, NME, Marie Claire and
many more. IPC have reached out to a wide spread
of audiences, as they have magazines for all sorts, to
gardens to media to kitchens. This is important for
my magazine as I can rely on this publisher to branch
out and reach out to my targeted audience
3. Distributors
The distributors I can rely to sell my magazine
would mainly be local supermarkets or off
licence stores such as: Tesco, Sainsburys, Asda
and Spar. I would like my magazine to be
distributed on stalls as well this is anyway for
my magazine to reach my target audience as
they can walk by and they would notice it.
Also another way would be at popular fashion
shops maybe urban streets shops as my
magazine genre is hip-hop and rap , so stores
such as: The Candy store, Topshop, Topman
and River Island, recently River Island have
partnered up with a popular female artist
called Rihanna. So if I was to get my magazine
there it would be suitable for the store to
distribute my product as my target audience
shops there.
