It`s difficult to express with words what I was able to see for 35 years. Probably
several books will not be enough for that. Besides, words do not always express all the
wonders that one may see in the mountains and valleys, whereas photo images often
reflect what cannot be conveyed by words.
During my journeys to mountains I have met real living legends, we even walked
together and my trips are interesting with that too.
It’s impossible to travel a lot and not to have a desire to share with others what you
have already seen.
During my life I have visited many places and countries, where non-climbers or an
ordinary man would find difficult to get to. That`s why I always take two cameras, photo
and video equipment with me to record everything on a tape.
Sometimes, when I review my recordings, I find that some buildings, populated
areas or some celebrations I have visited, no longer exist.
Please, don’t think that I consider a photo to have only documentary significance,
definitely not… It’s an art a true art…
When organizing photo exhibitions or publishing photo albums, photographers
usually choose a certain theme, in this photo album I decided to break this tradition and
that’s why I named my album “Big Mix”.
If at least one person enjoys my photos I would consider my goal achieved.
