4. Voyage en Turquie - February 29 - March 4, 2016
LUNDI 29 février 2016 : arrivée à Yalova
Je suis bien arrivée en Turquie, avec mes trois gardes
du corps, Dominique, Sandrine et Stéphanie. Le
voyage a été un peu long (taxi, avion, bus et ferry !)
mais je suis contente d’être à Yalova.
Nous avons été chaleureusement accueillies, avec une
présentation de chaque pays partenaire, chants et
danses entre tradition, musique et mathématiques.
En anglais s’il vous plait !
Un petit élève turc est spécialement venu nous dire
bonjour. Il comprend tout ce que je dis, car il a vécu en
France. Figurez-vous que je vais faire les workshops
avec son équipe d’enfants turques.
Après le délicieux déjeuner à la cantine de l’école,
nous sommes partis en car vers Iznik. Nous avons vu
des artisans travailler la terre et peindre des
céramiques, visiter un ancien temple romain datant du
4ème siècle et transformé en mosquée en 1331, vu
des fortifications tout aussi vieilles et enfin bu un café
turc au bord d’un immense lac.
Il était temps de rentrer pour dîner et passer une
bonne nuit de repos.

6. Monday February 29th 2016 : arrived to
Yalova
I arrived well in Turkey, with my three
bodyguards, Dominique, Sandrine and Stéphanie. The
trip was a little long (taxi, plane, bus and ferry!) But I'm
happy to be in Yalova.
We were warmly welcomed with a presentation of each
partner country, songs and dances of tradition, music
and mathematics all in English.
A small Turkish student came specially to say hello. It
understand everything I say, because he lived in
France. I will do the workshops with its team of Turkish
children.
After a good lunch at the school canteen, we went by
bus to Iznik. We saw artisans work painting ceramics,
visit an ancient Roman temple dating from the 4th
century and converted into a mosque in 1331, saw an
equally old fortifications and finally drank Turkish
coffee at the edge of a huge lake.
It was time to go for dinner and a good night's rest.

8. MARDI 1er MARS : 1er workshop "Mathématiques, Musique & Drama"
Ce matin, nous sommes allés dans deux classes de CE2, 7/8 ans, pour
assister à :
1/ une séance de numération, très ludique, où il fallait reconstituer une
chenille en comptant de 2 en 2, de 3 en 3 etc. jusqu’à 5 … puis chaque
élève devait regrouper les chenilles selon les contraintes numériques en
jeu.
2/ une séance de géométrie en 3D : chaque élève devait reconstituer le
patron d’un cube et d’un pavé affichés au tableau en 3 dimensions, avec
de la pâte à modeler et des pics en bois. Ensuite, il devait compter les
sommets et les arêtes avec son professeur.
Nous avons enchainé sur le 1er workshop « Matematic & Drama ».
A quoi servent une chaussette blanche, des formes géométriques
découpées dans des feuilles de plastique souple, de la feutrine, des
pompons et de la laine ? A fabriquer une marionnette très rigolote ! Puis à
la mettre en scène dans un petit théâtre. Heureusement Elif et Ebrar,
élèves turcs, étaient là pour me seconder.
Dernier jeu de la matinée, sur le stade couvert de l’école, un pavage de
formes géométriques de couleurs différentes sur lequel nous devions
trouver le bon chemin pour atteindre l’autre côté. Et plus difficile, avec 4
élèves les yeux bandés, je devais tracer sur le sol avec une corde un
cercle, un carré et un triangle
L’après-midi, destination Bursa, visite de son très intéressant musée de
marionnettes anciennes, puis celui des métiers d’antan et enfin sa cité des
sciences. Et ce n’était pas terminé !
Promenade au Bazar de la ville et diner dans « le »restaurant de Kebab
situé sur une colline dominant la ville.
Enfin, c’est l’heure d’aller dormir. Demain, direction Istanbul !
9. This morning we visit two classes of CE2 7/8 years old:
1 / a counting session, very playful, where the pupils had to
reconstitute a caterpillar counting from 2 to 2, 3 to 3 etc. up to
5 ... and each student had to regroup them according to
numerical instruction.
2 / geometry session in 3D: each student had to reconstruct the
pattern of a cube and a keypad displayed on the board in 3
dimensions, with the clay and wooden spikes. Then they had to
count the vertices and edges with the teacher.
We chained the 1st workshop "mathematic & Drama."
What are a white sock, geometric shapes cut out of flexible
plastic sheets, felt, pompoms and wool can be used for? To
make a very funny puppet! Then stage it in a small theater.
Fortunately Ebrar and Elif, Turkish students were there to help
us.
Last game of the morning, on the covered stage school, on a
paving geometric shapes of different colors, we had to find the
right way to reach the other side. And more difficult, with 4
students blindfolded, we had to draw on the ground with a rope a
circle, a square and a triangle
We deserved our lunch in the canteen.
In the afternoon, we went to Bursa, visit its interesting museum
of antique puppets, museum of past trades and finally the city of
sciences.
At the end of the day, we walked in the Bazaar of the city and
have dinner in "the" Kebab restaurant situated on a hill
overlooking the city.
Finally, it was time to go to sleep. Tomorrow we will go to
Istanbul!

11. MERCREDI 2 MARS : journée à Istanbul
Aujourd’hui virée à Istanbul, donc ferry et bus.
Le premier musée visité est une ancienne église
transformée en mosquée puis le contraire …Les
mosaïques qui le décorent sont en cours de
restauration. Les inscriptions grecques nous
présentent les saints Apôtres et la vie de Jésus.
C’est très beau !
Deuxième arrêt à Miniatürk où nous visitons les
plus beaux monuments de tout le pays. Voici la
Mosquée Bleue et Sainte Sophie. Nous sommes
vraiment au carrefour des cultures occidentale et
orientale.
Puis direction l’auditorium du Musée militaire pour
un concert de musique traditionnelle, tambours,
trompettes, clarinettes et chanteurs …
Le point noir de la journée, les embouteillages …
du coup notre croisière en bateau sur le Bosphore
s’est faite de nuit.
Enfin, nous avons terminé la journée par un
excellent diner dans un restaurant de poissons
pêchés dans la mer de Marmara.

12. Today trip to Istanbul so, ferry and bus.
First we visit a former church converted into a
mosque and then the opposite ... The
mosaics that decorate it have been restored.
Greek inscriptions shows the holy Apostles
and Jesus' life. It was beautiful !
Second stop to Miniatürk where we visit the
most beautiful monuments of the country like
the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. We are
truly at the crossroads of Western and
Eastern cultures.
Then we went to the auditorium of the Military
Museum for a concert of traditional music,
drums, trumpets, clarinets and singers ...
The black point of the day, traffic jams ... so
our boat trip on the Bosphorus was done at
night.
Finally, we ended the day with a delicious
dinner in a fish restaurant caught in the Sea
of Marmara.
Wednesday March 2nd 2016 : visiting Istanbul
13. JEUDI 3 MARS : dernier workshop à l’école !
Ce matin, nous avons eu deux workshops musicaux :
1/ Pour compter avec les notes, la ronde vaut 4, la blanche 2, la noire 1 et la
croche 0,5. l'objectif était de mêler maths et musique, le tout au son de la flûte
traversière de Soraya.
Notre tâche consistait à remplir un panneau de correspondance notes et
nombres.
2/ Comment transformer une boite de Springle en maracas, pour accompagner
nos chansons.
En plus de la boite, nous avions du papier argenté autocollant, du carton ondulé
de couleur, et diverses décorations (pompons, autocollants, etc...).
Nous avons encore eu la chance d'être aidées par nos petites amies turques qui
ont chanté avec Parise une chanson de leur pays.
Les deux petites grecques connaissaient aussi une chanson française.
Chaque pays s'est donc produit avec ses instruments accompagné de la flûte et
du luth oriental.
Ensuite, nous avons suivi une première classe (8 ans) dans son travail
mathématique du jour : numération et bingo. Enfin, dans la seconde classe,
l'enseignante nous a présenté une chanson gestuée mathématique « le triangle
» qui n'a plus de secret pour nous.
La matinée s’est terminée par l’habillage des poupées à la mode turque : très
jolie robe de velours rouge.
Après notre dernier déjeuner à la cantine, nous nous sommes rendues à la salle
de spectacle pour la remise officielle des certificats Erasmus à chaque pays et le
traditionnel échange de cadeaux.
La pluie dense nous a empêchées de visiter l'arboretum et les thermes de
Yalova. Nous avons donc terminé l'après midi en temps libre avant le dernier
repas avec tous les partenaires.
Demain, retour en France, ferry, bus, avion et métro ….
14. This morning we had two musical workshops:
1 / counting with the notes, the round is 4, 2 white, 1 black
and crooked 0.5. The goal was to mix math and music, while
hearing the flute of Soraya.
Our task was to complete a panel of notes and
correspondence numbers.
2 / How to transform a box of Springle to maracas.
With the box, we had also silver paper sticker, colored
corrugated cardboard, and various decorations (pompoms,
stickers, etc ...).
We have been helped by our small Turkish friends who sang
a song of their country with Parise.
Two small Greek pupils also knew a French song.
Each country produced them selves with instruments
accompanied by flute and oriental lute.
Then we visit a first class (8 years) in his mathematical work:
counting and bingo. In another class, the teacher presented a
mathematical song "triangle".
The morning ended with dressing dolls at Turkish fashion:
beautiful red velvet dress.
After our last lunch in the canteen, we went to the official
presentation of the Erasmus certificates to each country and
the traditional exchange of gifts.
A heavy rain prevented us from visiting the arboretum and
the baths of Yalova. So we ended the afternoon free time
before the last meal with all partners.
Tomorrow, back in France, ferry, bus, airplane and
subway ....
