The owner of the Woodbury Pharmacy in Highland Mills, New York, Maher Ishak has over 30 years experience in pharmacy. After graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from Cairo University in 1977, Maher Ishak operated two pharmacies in Egypt as a licensed pharmacist with the Egyptian Board of Pharmacy. In 1986, Maher Ishak moved to the United States, finding a position with Rite Aid Pharmacy in Croton-on-Hudson, New York. Familiarizing himself with American pharmacy practices, Maher Ishak served as Store Manager and Supervising Pharmacist, in which capacity he was responsible for filling prescriptions, managing inventory, and counseling patients.
