Why Didn’t I Do This Sooner?

You have all heard me share how
the Empower Network Austin Eventchanged my life. Well it didn’t just change it in Austin. My friend
Niamh Arthur posted this the other day on our facebook group page:
Want to know something weird?? It’s totally common to get colds, have adversity, and
sometimes even feel low right after a huge transformation.
We come back from a life transforming event like Austin and see that while we’ve
changed our lives at home haven’t caught up yet. For me, I came home to a house

2. somehow STILL full of germs and got instantly sick again… but here’s the coolest
thing:
I still turn on my computer with a leap in my heart, and check this group expecting to
see nothing but awesomeness coming out of this team… and I find that in the last
couple days DIFFERENT rebels have been welcoming new members… more and
more people are messaging me with their INTENTIONS and asking me to hold them
accountable for the BIG THINGS they are going for … YOU ARE ALL stepping up
and transforming into a true group of leaders.
And it’s not just the ones who were in Austin!
My point is, even if you came home to face “reality” your reality has changed, truly,
and deeply… and you just need to move forward, take action, and watch as your life
catches up!
Monday morning on the 21st I woke up with a sore throat thinking it would go away by mid morning. I got
myself ready to fly back home and everything and by the time I got home I still had the sore throat. I knew I
was in trouble. My daughter and brother were trying to get rid of their cold too.
I woke up the next morning with a full blown cold. Now, normally that would have thrown medown for days
where I would have just lied in bed and watched TV . Not this time.
And life around me at home did not change while I was gone either. The same situations were still there that
were there before I left. But they were different this time.
You’re probably thinking the cold got to my brain at this point but I kid you not. What Niamh said about “your
reality has changed” is so true. I am the one that has changed not anything else around me.
This is something I have been trying to teach my brother with his relationship with our dad but how could I
teach him something that I myself was not doing. Now, NOW, I can teach him by example.
Before I went to Austin I did not do my reading or listen to audios. My excuse was I have a hard time retaining
what I hear and read.
Since I have come home, I listen to audio daily and read daily. And I am actually having fun doing it. I love
hearing this wealth of information that is on those audios. And they are a.u.d.i.o.s, I can listen to them over and
over if I didn’t remember something I wanted to remember. And here’s a concept…I take notes.
I get chills every time still when I think about the powerful breakthroughs of this past weekend. Not only
is Empower Network teaching me how to make a great income online, they are teaching me a new way of
life. A life I had forgotten about way to many years now.
You know, it’s been said that if you listen to the audios that they can actually be an inspiration for a blog post.
Who’d have thought? But guess what…this morning I was listening to an inner circle audio, taking my notes,

3. going over in my head what I learned while I was in the shower, and there all of a sudden was a blog post.
Huh…….I guess this does work….IF you work it.
Well , I think I’ll finish this off now because the people in Panera here are looking at me strange while I am
typing and laughing and smiling as I write this. Who care? I don’t. I am just so grateful.
Ya know, being part of the Rebel Marketers was God send. They are there when I need help, encouragement

CONNECT
4) Take the subject of this post, and write a short introduction of your blog post for your team, and send them a
link to your blog post through your Empower Network Back Office My Tools.
This can also be sent as a Broadcast Email to your lead list through your auto-responder.
If you do not yet have a team, start a conversation with at least 5-10 people on Facebook or other social
media sites.
(Hint: This is one of the MOST important things you can do, the more relationships you create with people
who have enjoyable conversations with you… the more likely you will grow a team that STICKS, that works
side by side with you… and that you ENJOY!)
