Eduardo Ravelo was a leader of the Barrio Azteca gang, a Mexican American gang with approximately 600 members involved in various illegal activities such as murder, drug trafficking, and money laundering. Ravelo was wanted by the FBI on several drug and organized crime charges and was placed on the Ten Most Wanted list in 2009, before being captured in Mexico in 2018. Ravelo and his gang members allegedly acted as hitmen for a Mexican drug cartel and were responsible for multiple homicides.
