1. WHAT’S NEW?
thinc program 2014!
!
We are doubling the number of students who participate in the thinc program each
summer. Students from last year have been invited back, and a new group of sixth
graders will be accepted into this year’s program as well. Ultimately, students will
participate in the program for three consecutive years leading them into high
school. !
!
This year we will be hosting the thinc program at Eastern University from July
20-25. All supporters of PFF are invited to drop by for a meal, spend the day with us, bring us ice
cream, etc. You are the ones who make this possible, and we welcome you with open arms.
#GivingTuesday - December 3!
Buy a book (or 2 or 3) to give to at-risk students in Harrisburg, Philadelphia
and Prince George’s County. Send them to us by Tuesday, December 17.
We’ll wrap them, add a gift tag on your behalf and get them to the students
before winter break.!

Purple Feet Committees!
Many of our supporters have told us that they’d like to do more with PFF. So, we have formed
three PFF Committees: Social Media and Marketing, Career Chats and Fundraising. If you
are interested in sharing your time and talents through service on a PFF Committee just send
us an email at lance@purplefeetfoundation.org, and we’ll send you all the details.

We have hosted some truly awesome career chats this year
featuring four-time Super Bowl champion J.T. Thomas and Lissa
Moses, creator and founder of Mosa Mack Animations. Up next:
