I am a research scientist at FX Palo Alto laboratory. My research interests include Human-Computer Interaction, Ubiquitous Computing and Multimedia Processing. Recently I focus on physical/tangible interfaces and supporting systems that exploit human's pre-existing skills in the physical world to facilitate their interaction with the digital world, and bring the two worlds together to form a ubiquitous and seamless interaction environment. I earned my Ph.D. and M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Maryland, College Park. I also hold a B.S. and a M.S. in Computer Science from Tsinghua University, China.
