1. Riot’s Unfair Sentencing Mark Duggan’s Death!<br />By: Jazz Strachan<br />Known North London gangster, drug dealer Mark Duggan was shot dead by a police officer, on the 4th August 2011.<br /> It was said to be caused by Mark Duggan aiming fire at a police officer, but later on found out the bullet that was fired at the police officer, was a bullet that actually came from a police gun. <br /> It was said that the story that was shown on the news, was a total misunderstanding, Mark did not fire arm at the officer, the police officers partner was said to have fired at the police officer accidentally, while trying to fire at Mark. <br /> Mark Duggan: with son.<br /> The officer that was handling Mark Duggan then fire armed at him, he passed away shortly after on the streets in Tottenham, in public surroundings.<br /> The death of Mark Duggan left family and friends devastated. They had questions that they wanted to be answered.<br /> People then got really aggravated as the police could not answer their questions; conflict was started up between the public and the police authority.<br /> Riots then started happening in Tottenham, then working its way around the whole of London to the point of people outside London getting involved in the horrific acts.<br /> Police did try to say that the rioters/looters were not doing it because of Mark Duggan’s death; they were doing it for themselves but trying to look for doing it.<br /> There were scenes of chaos in the early hours of Sunday morning as sustained looting spread from Tottenham to other nearby area’s of Haringey. <br /> By midnight police managed to secure a 200-metre strech of the Tottenham Hight Road, scene of some of the worst rioting on Saturday night.<br /> But as fire engines entered the street, and started putting out car/building fires a load of the rioters began darting into different area’s through backstreet, area’s that had not yet been touched by any of the rioters But, the area they darted to was said to be, the North of Tottenham, which was Tottenham Hale, Aldi supermarket was ransacked and set on fire. So was a nearby carpet shop causing a huge blaze.<br />In Tottenham, riot police patrol the streets in the early hours of Sunday 7 August.<br /> <br />Riot sentencing<br /> This whole situation brings us to riot sentencing, Inbetween the riot days two men were jailed for 4 years for using Facebook to incite riots and another was given 18 months for having a stolen TV in his car.<br /> Cheshire men Jordan Blackshaw, 21, of Marston, and Perry Sutcliffe-Keenan, 22, of Warrington, were jailed after admitting using Facebook to incite disorder, although none actually resuted.<br />Jordan Backshaw and Perry Sutcliffe-Keenan.<br />Meanwhile a 17-year-old from Suffolk has been banned from using social networking sites for 12 months and ordered to observe a three month overnight curfew for using Facebook to encourage people to riot during last weeks disorder. <br /> An 18-year-old was imprisoned for one day for stealing two Burberry t-shirts while in another court, a 23-year old man was sentenced to six months in prison for stealing £3.50 worth of water.<br /> In another case three men were jailed for up to two years in reaction to disorder in Manchester and Salford on the 9th August. David Beswick, 31, Stephen Carter, 26, both from Salford, and Michael Gillespie-Doyle, 18, from Tameside, all pleaded guilty at earlier hearing.<br /> People that committed worse crime’s got less time in jail than those who looted <br /> <br /> <br />
