Wildfire Network’s purpose is to develop unique wildfire and forest related education and outreach programs to the public and assist wildland urban interface (WUI) communities in risk mitigation and forest health efforts by becoming a single point of contact for program and funding support provided by federal, state and local agencies. Wildfire Network will train and develop certification processes for youth and disadvantaged in wildland and forest health issues,  become a resource of education, training and certification for private forest contractors and encourage business and employment opportunities in wildfire mitigation and fire and forest related endeavors.
