Throw away your cigarettes!!!
Right now cigarette butts are THE
most littered item in America and the
world.
It is estimated that seven trillion butts
are littered every year
They’ve become such a huge problem because they are made
out of cellulose acetate tow which can take decades to degrade.
If you or someone you know litters, please express to them the
consequences and dangers of their actions so that cigarette butts
can be disposed of properly, or if you see one on the ground take
the initiative to throw it out yourself and make a difference!
