Only 44% of 18-24 year olds voted in the 2010 UK general election, despite over half of 19-24 year olds being registered to vote. Many young people choose not to vote because they feel the government lies or that their vote does not matter, but by abstaining they have no ability to influence democracy or choose England's leadership, and instead must accept the decisions of those who do vote.

all the people who vote and those who don’t have to g with what has been chosen for them.
