The capital city of Ukraine is Kyiv, located on the banks of the Dnipro River where over 3 million people live. Ukraine is also known for the Carpathian Mountains, a popular winter destination for skiing and snowboarding, with the highest point being Mount Hoverla at 2061 meters.
