'Canyon Melody' is a variety of coral bells or Heuchera that forms creeping mats of low green leaves. In spring it produces graceful dark red spikes up to 12 inches tall that bear rose pink buds which open into tiny white petals. It is a hybrid of California and Southwestern US species that grows to 12 inches tall in part sun to light shade, requiring well-drained soil and moderate watering. It is hardy to 0 degrees F and suitable for use in edging, rock gardens and shade gardens.
