Adoption In A War Torn Country

Editor's Notes

  1. If you’re looking to adopting from a war torn country like Liberia where parents of potential adopted kids are either missing or dead, you will need to start from getting right down to the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare. The Ministry will have a complete list of all adoption agencies, their heads and addresses. If you’re a from America or other western countries, they will most likely recommend you to two agencies. Those agencies are: The SOS children village and Soul Clinic Mission. The main reason behind this is that these agencies are headed by foreigners, mainly westerners. On the other hand, if you’re local, then the ministry will send you to host of agencies: One notable one is the Agency for the rights of Liberian children. They are the biggest and most organized local adoption agency. They are also well funded and directed by some of the best and brightest social service experts in the country.
