1. Why you should try Track & Field
by: Jordan Latimer.
• Track is a sport that will
benefit you in many
ways .
• If you are someone who
loves to run or to jump
maybe even throw
track and field would be
your answer.
2. Competition
• When you join a track and
field team you must compete
in order to achieve that first
place medal.
• This will help you in the real
world too. Knowing that you
have to go out and earn it
instead of someone bringing
it to you.
• During a meet their is at
least 15 teams or more that
will give you a challenge in
the event that you will do.
3. Hydration
• Hydration plays an
important role during
track.
• Track meets last about 5
hours in the hot sun.
People can be easily de-
hydrated in the warm,
and hot condition.
• Your body is 80% made
up of water but when
temperatures reach 90
or 85 degrees things
change.
4. Reasons why i like
• Track & Field..
One reason why i enjoy
track & field is because
all the great people you
meet. Being able to try
and earn a athletic
scholarship.
• You can break records
and create your own.
Qualify for the State
meet. I do high, long, and
triple jump.
• My favorite thing is
when I went to Myrtle
beach our team went up
their and won the meet.
5. Why you should try track &
• People should go out field.
and pursuit track
because its a great
experience for high
school.You meet new
friends and coaches. If
your lucky like me you
will meet a famous
person. I met arnold
Schwarzenegger during a
meet once.
• Its a great experience
you can have fun during
the meet.
6. What does track do for
your body??
• Without track my body
would not be the same.
• Track keeps you in shape
it helps build character,
Track builds muscle and
keeps you in physical
condition.
• Without Track my life
would’t be the same i
would gain a lot of
weight. If your trying
to lose weight track
would help a lot.
