Using forums on Sloodle
Sloodl tutorial
Adding a forum
• Workflow
• 1. In your course, turn editing on. 2. Click add a resource/activity in the
topic block that you are working in. 3. Select FORUM and click add. 4.
Give your forum a name and a description (this may include instructions
or media you want the students to respond to. 5. Leave as optional
subscription and increase attachment size, change number of
attachments. 6. Post threshold (how many posts students can make per
day. 7. Leave grade category and ratings. 8. If you are using groups and
want to restrict this to a particular group, change the group setting. 9.
Restrict access to a particular period if you like. 10. Save and display.
You and your students can now add topics and files.
