“Teachers got late to our school”
“None of my friends went to University”
“In our community most women are
housewives or they work as maids”
“We had no opportunitites to study something
else”
Do:
She is weaving a scarf while she talks.
She wants her daughters to end school and study
in an institute.
She sends her daughters to schoolworks of arts
and languages (english).
She has two works in order to pay the education
of her kids.
Maria needed a space to reinforce technical and language
skills that prepare her to enter to higher education, and to
get a job. All the women like Maria in marginal communities
still need those spaces.
Maria now needs a space that gives her technical skills and
that can allow her to get a job.
