I am an Information Technology educator and industry professional with over 30 years of experience in managing all aspects of mission critical telecommunications, multimedia, and Internet based projects. I have taught and lead collegiate level technology based programs in traditional and online environments. The focus of my academic research has been in the areas of student motivation (particularly at risk populations), redefining digital scholarship, reforming of the tenure and promotion system within higher education, and developing ePortfolio support structures to promote student/programmatic/institutional assessment.
