The lesson plan is for a class of 25 pupils in Year 9 to continue their study of Antarctica through a carousel activity. The intended learning outcomes are for pupils to identify key features of Antarctica including climate, wildlife, population, discovery, and location. Pupils will work in groups to gather information from different worksheets and record their findings on an individual study template (IST) that will be assessed in their next lesson. The teacher's role is to circulate and ensure learning is taking place while pupils quiz each other on the information they are recording. A plenary session will involve pupils summarizing what they learned and identifying questions for the next lesson.

may send a learner to another table that has doen the same category and share their recordings –
which is better? Why?
Ongoing Quiz they are creating.
My role to circulate and make sure learning is taking place. Also to check/collect in IST. Using their
IST for an assessment 3rd Feb which is their next lesson.
