Dear friend
In this first letter I will introduce myself and tell you about the world around me.
My name is Joel and I am a 14 year old boy. My hair is brown and short. I have got
green eyes. I am a bit short and thin. I am easy-going, very hard working and a bit
crazy.
I live in Sant Vicenç dels Horts, near Barcelona. It is a big town and a bit peaceful.
I live in a detached house. It is large and pleasant. It has got a kitchen, a living room,
two bathrooms and three bedrooms. I live with my sister called Alicia and with my
parents.
I go to “Gabriela Mistral” Secondary School. I am in the third form. It is a public
school, and it has got about 600 students. I like it because is big. It has many
classrooms. There is also a gym, a cantina, a football field, four labs, a library and a
theatre.
My favourite subjects are social science, English and natural environment but I can't
stand Music. The teachers are cool, and they say my class is very talkative. My best
friend's name is Maria.
