Has this ever happened to you? You go to a wedding reception to celebrate. You have
a few drinks. Maybe you take to the stage and do a little performance. Somebody
videos it and puts it on Instagram. Cute. Except whenthat somebody is a celebrity, and
now, like it or not, you're Internet famous.
That's what happened to Sarah Lane.
The 26-year-old council worker from Bridgend, Wales, in the United Kingdom, was the
maid of honor at her best friend's wedding Saturday. Actress Michelle Rodriguez from
"Avatar" and "Fast & Furious" movie series, also a friend of the bride, was in
attendance.
Michelle took a video of Sarah, dressed in a beaded bridesmaid dress and a flower
crown, performing the 4 Non Blonde's hit "What's Up" at the wedding reception. She
then posted it to her Instagram — which has about 800,000 followers — and wrote, "I
love life people are resilient to life love and the endurance of it all"
Sarah recounted to the Daily Mail how she found out.
