I write children's books, I blog, I speak and I am a superhero for little kids - Safe Side Superchick. I began my professional writing career by adapting my first novel into the screenplay Tumblweeds, that the actress Janet McTeer won the 2000 Golden Globe for. I went on to adapt other novels for the big and small screen including Charms for the Easy Life by Kaye Gibbons. I wrote the book Finding Angela Shelton after my directing debut, Searching for Angela Shelton. As an Author and Writer with the goal of Empowering Women, Parents, Teachers and Mommy Bloggers I created the series "The Adventures of Tilda Pinkerton" along with the children's chapter books "The Magic Hat Shop." The
