FATA amongst the protagonists of Power Gen Africa in Cape Town, South Africa.
The event, which saw the participation of approx. seventy exhibitors form all over the world, was attended
by more than 2300 people, amongst which high ministry authorities.
Good results for FATA, which had hundreds of contacts, mainly from operators interested in having in-
depth information on the activities developed by the EPC division in the Power sector. The stand also
showed the rendering (virtual images) of the two Electric Power Plants, Avon and Dedisa, in whose
development FATA is directly involved, which have been highly appreciated by the visitors.
During the inauguration, the FATA team also had the pleasure of welcoming at his booth the visit of the
Italian Ambassador in South Africa, H.E. Vincenzo Schioppa invited by the Chairman of FATA Ignazio
Moncada.
To celebrate the recent acquisition of the two contracts in South Africa, FATA also co-sponsored the gala
dinner, which was attended by high level guests.
The South-African and Sub-Sahara markets are considered amongst the most promising ones for the
development of the company business.
