First and foremost, the nicotine present in cigarettes makes it really addictive. Thus, there is no coming
back after you start smoking cigarettes regularly. There have been many people who have tried to take

urge to smoke too difficult to resist once they start smoking regularly.
You have to understand that many people do not start smoking cigarette with a thought of doing it
regularly but rather as an adventure or to 'just have an experience'. Yet, with time cigarettes become a
part and parcel of their lives and they never get to realize when smoking cigarettes became a habit. All
this is because of the nicotine level that the cigarette contains which urges you to smoke even if you
don't want to and creates head-aches and other aching problems throughout your body if you try to
stop smoking after a certain period.
An argument of most of the smokers remain that smoking cigarettes helps them in eradicating tension
and also lets them concentrate. Well, to a certain extent tension does get released with a cigarette or
two but yet, such addictive drugs become a habit very quickly and almost impossible to quit afterwards
thus, it's no point in taking the risk of smoking even a single cigarette.
Cigarettes and tea both help in increasing concentration but yet; you have to remember that this is only
a short-term effect. After sometime, your brain wants a cigarette every time you start work as the
nicotine in cigarette makes your brain do so. Thus, only after getting what it wants, the brain is able to
concentrate on the work hence, it can be termed as 'self-cheating' yourself.
The health side-effects are truly hazardous and it's not only the word of mouth that says so. Scientific
researches and the health monitoring of smokers both points that smoking can lead to some of the most
hazardous diseases in the world. Oral cancer and lung cancer tends to hit smokers around 10 times

3. more than the non-smokers. Teeth fall-out is also common in smokers as the smoke-tar firstly affects
the teeth and then the reduction of saliva due to cigarettes causes teeth to fall-out.
There are no two ways about it; the effects of smoking are truly hazardous. You may find a cigarette
pretty cool to smoke among friends, you may even find a tension releaser at first but yet, cigarette can
prove to be your biggest enemy after constant use for 3-4 years.
