I get a kick out of diving in a large-scale analytics project, and making it scale reliably, using the best modern architectures and custom, scalable algorithms. Apache Spark Streaming Contributor and first ever developer certified for Spark by Databricks & O'Reilly. Co-wrote a paper on Scala's type system with Martin Odersky. Data Science & algorithmics work on internet advertisement auction models, customer segmentation at the largest ad retargeters in Europe. Works on mobility data in near real-time, with data flowing in at the scale of a country (15E12 records/day).
