This document provides an overview of the integration between INXPO and Eloqua. It describes how registrant profiles and activity from INXPO events can be pushed into Eloqua custom objects on a scheduled basis. The types of data that can be transferred are listed. Setup requires administrative permissions for both INXPO and Eloqua accounts, and providing connectivity credentials. Data is mapped between INXPO fields and Eloqua custom object fields. Transfers can be scheduled as one-time, daily, weekly or monthly. Reporting tracks transfer progress and details.

INXPO Integration
with Eloqua
Overview
INXPO provides a seamless integration to Eloqua, where registrant profiles and
activity are pushed from INXPO into Eloqua E10 Custom Objects (E9 Data Cards).
These transfers of data are scheduled, based on required timing preferences.

How it works
Connectivity
An INXPO administrator saves the following three values in order to provide the
connectivity between INXPO and Eloqua.
In order to setup the integration, you will need the following items:

These can be copied from one INXPO event to the next so that they do not need
to be remembered. In fact, the password is not readable on screen.
• Eloqua company
• Eloqua user
• Eloqua password
Is Eloqua Hosting Registration?
Options:
Is Eloqua Hosting Registration?
When chosen, INXPO will only send the information to Eloqua for
users who have logged into INXPO at least once. Therefore, the
registrants who have never logged into INXPO will NOT be sent
Eloqua because Eloqua already would know their profile
information.
Only Send New Activity
When chosen, only users with activity after the last data transfer
will be sent to Eloqua. “Activity” defined as either registrations
and logins. Defaulted to yes, an INXPO administrator may assist
with this option in case you ever wanted to resend all users.

Custom Objects
There is an Eloqua design choice for how you would like your data
to be organized:
• A unique custom object (contact) per INXPO Event. Each record’s unique
identifier is the email address. Provides segmentation of records.
• One custom object (contact) for all INXPO Events Each record’s unique
identifier is the concatenation of the event identifier + user identifier.
Provides one location for data to process within Eloqua, and one choice for
INXPO to send data to.
On the INXPO setup screen for each event, the administration chooses the custom
object for sending data. This is dynamically pulled via the Eloqua REST API using
the above-entered 3 credentials.
Field Mappings
As soon as a custom object is chosen, a list of its fields appear upon the INXPO
screen for mapping. An INXPO administrator chooses an INXPO field for each
custom object field. Email address is required, as well as the unique identifier
field if you choose the second custom object option above. This field list is
dynamically pulled via the Eloqua REST API using the above-entered 3 credentials.

INXPO Integration with Eloqua
Choose a frequency and a date range. Multiple schedules may be created;
One-time push
Choose daily, set a start date, and set the end date to be the same start
date.
Daily push
Choose Daily, set a start date specifying the time-of-day for the first
transfer and also a future end date for when to stop. After the start date
transfer, the INXPO Server will transfer data every 24 hours.
Weekly push
Choose Weekly, set a start date specifying the time-of-day for the first
transfer and also a future end date for when to stop. After the start date
transfer, the INXPO Server will transfer data every 7 days.
Monthly push
Choose Monthly , set a start date specifying the time-of-day for the first
transfer and also a future end date for when to stop. After the start date
transfer, the INXPO Server will transfer data each month.
