The increase in worldwide search shows facebook addiction becomes a growing issue that we have to face.

Internet Security Company AVG conducted a study with 2,200 mothers with Internet access and with children aged 2-5 in U.S., Canada, the EU5 (U.K., France, Italy, Germany, Spain), Japan, Australia and New Zealand. They found out that more children know about tech skills such as playing with smartphone application and computer game rather than life skills such as riding a bike and swimming.

According to a survey by JWT in 2010 on more than 1,00 US and British adults, 54% said they try to regularly disconnect from technology, so that they can focus on other non-technology experiences; 63% of the respondents said they wish they could spend more time communicating with friends and family in person rather than through technology. And surprisingly, younger generation (who aged 18-32) tend to say this more than the older generations (who aged 33-65).
