I have been very successful on a local, state, and national level in Community Health Center management. On a local level I worked in networking with area providers and service organizations to coordinate care and address the numerous health care problems that the residents of southwest Virginia face. I served on the Chamber of Commerce of Smyth County Board of Directors for over nine years and two terms as President. On a regional level I was one of the founding members for the Southwest Virginia AHEC and the Southwest Virginia GMEC was formed and focused on medical resident rotations.
