Toshiharu Harada is a senior technical consultant at NTT DATA INTELLILINK Corporation, in Japan. He has been a manager of R&D division at NTT DATA Corporation, one of the largest system integration companies in the country. Since 1991 to 1992, He had been a visiting engineer at Athena MUSE consortium at MIT. He was the only Japanese in the project and did localize Athen MUSE to handle Japanese. He felt this experience fundamentally affected him. Things have changed since he got involved in OSS (Open Source Software) in 2003.
