    Day 1 – [1st Feb 2012]: Hanoi Arrival–Half day of Duong Lam- night train to Sapa (L,D)

    8:30 Am - Welcome at the airport on arrival in Ha Noi and transfer to the downtown and join Duong
    Lam tour – Situated northwest of Hanoi, a tour through Duong Lam is a great way to explore the area's
    twelve-hundred year history. Explore and achieve the best shots of the houses over 400 years old,
    wander the village's narrow alleyways, visit local temples, and most interesting of all, chat with friendly
    locals and enjoy your picnic Lunch on way.

    Visit Mong Phu temple in Mong Phu commune - the only hamlet whose original village entrance
    remains intact. Continue on through the narrow alleys to see the old laterite houses which make up this
    charming village.


    Back to Hanoi, visit peaceful West Lake or Ho Tay with lovers Thanh Nien Street, the sedate Tran Quoc
    Pagoda and QuanThanh Temple and view that best moment of Hanoi in the afternoon – Sunset in
    West Lake.


    Lately afternoon, enjoy your buffet dinner in a local restaurant then night train to Sapa

    Day 2 - [ 2nd Feb 2012]: Lao Cai – Sapa – Cat Cat – Ta Phin (B,L,D)

    Arrive in Lao Cai station in the early morning, transfer to Sapa foe checking in your hotel and breakfast.
    Refresh yourselves and make sure that your cameras are ready. Today we will have a small trek to Cat Cat
    & Ta Phin.

    Cat Cat village is a home of Black H’mong in Sapa – 20-30 walk away from Sapa town. We took about a
    2-3 km hike through the village. It offered a glimpse into the daily life of a big minority group,
    Black Hmong. They are much more friendly and definitely not as aggressive as the Red Zao ladies. The

    Ta Phin – Different from Cat Cat, Ta Phin is known as home of Red Dao, visit the home of their and
    chatting with the local to know the differences from Black H’mong. Back to the town for dinner.

    Day 3 - [ 3rd Feb 2012]: Sapa – Can Cau – Bac Ha (B,L,D)
    Start early in the morning at 6am, driving to Can Cau market, which passing Bac Ha Town. The road
    between Bac Ha and Can Cau is hilly but very beautiful. The products at the market are interesting, and
    many different groups of ethnic minority people represent make the market an unforgettable experience.
    Back to Bac Ha for lunch. Check-in at a hotel in Bac Ha. After a rest, trekking about 5 km of mountain path
    to Ban Pho Village - home of Flower H'Mong people, get in touch and witness their traditional life style,
    habit and customs. Overnight in Bac Ha

    Day 4 - [ 4th Feb 2012]: Bac Ha – Lao Cai – night train to Hanoi(B,L,D)
    After breakfast, take a car to Si Ma Cai Market - join in Si Ma Cai hill-tribe market and discover the
    daily life of Flower H'Mong, Red Dzao people. Back to Bac Ha Town, free time to visit Bac Ha Sunday
    Market before lunch time. Drive back to Lao Cai City. Dinner in Lao Cai and take a night train back to
    Hanoi.

    Day 5 - [5th Feb 2012]: Hanoi arrival – Da Nang – Hoi An (B,D)
    Arrive in Hanoi in the early morning at Hanoi station, our driver will take you to the hotel for fresh
    shower and breakfast. Then transfer to Noi Bai airport for your flight to Da Nang.
    Arrive in Da Nang, drive 30 minutes to Hoi An. Check in your hotel and have your own time until 15:00,
    we will start have sunset tour in Hoi An.

    Sunset in Hoi An makes for an infinite hue of colors and reflections. Enjoy a boat ride to Thanh Ha
    village, explore the rice paddies in the warm afternoon light, capture the workers planting, plowing or
    harvesting rice. Enter a traditional village along the river and a boat ride back to Hoi An. Photograph
    the old quarter in the best light, soaking up the afternoon sun and colors on the river, our workshop at
    7 pm, we back to the town for a dinner.

    Day 6 – [6th Feb 2012]: Hoi An Morning Sunrise (B)
    Are you ready for waking in the early morning to have views of Hoi An in the sunrise. Starting at 4:45

    river meet. Witness how locals smoke and dry the fish. There is ample opportunity to capture the
    morning light spilling across the water, to get shots of light filtering through the fish smoking chamber
    and plenty of countryside greenery to give you contrast. Hoi An photo tour has an excellent rapport
    with the locals - you will be more than welcome to take portrait shots of the fisherman. The tour ends at
    9:30 am. Back to your hotel for breakfast and then have a free day on your own.
