1. Being a citizen of the United States and the world makes us responsible for
knowing world events and their affect geographically, historically, and politically on the
people and places they involve. For example the Catholics and Protestants of Northern
Ireland fought for historical, political, and geographical reasons. For centuries there have
been conflicts in the Northern Ireland between the Catholics and the Protestants. From
the late sixteen hundreds to the early nineteen hundreds this argument over Northern
Ireland which was beautiful with vast mountain ranges and breath taking views has been
going on.
