2. About Switzerland Switzerland people speak French. They also speak German, Italian and Rumantsch: It’s language deviates from Latin in the roman times. It’s famous for its luscious chocolate factories, it’s colossal sized mountains.
3. CHOCLATE! Switzerland is a small mountainous country, whose climate is anything but tropical. It never had any colonies in cocoa-growing countries in South America, or Africa, or anywhere else. It may seem surprising that it has become one of the world's leading chocolate makers.
4. So, where is switzerland? Switzerland is located south-east of France, just above Italy and left of Austria.
5. ®ªñкm ƒå¢t§! The last recorded population of Switzerland (July 2008) is something like 7,581,520. London’s population is 7,200,000. About 20% of the population are foreigners. In Zurich, the population is 336,000 Switzerland have a bunch of crazy laws[next slide]
6. bonker Laws! Clothes may not be hung to dry on Sunday. You may not wash your car on a Sunday. It is considered an offense to mow your lawn on a Sunday, because it causes too much noise. It is illegal to flush the toilet after 10 P. A man may not relieve himself while standing up, after 10 P. Though it is illegal to produce, store, sell and trade absinth (special alcohol), it is legal to consume it. It is required that every car with snow tires has to have a sticker on its dashboard which tells that the driver should not drive faster than 160 km/h with these tires. If you forget you car-keys inside the car and you leave the car open, you will be punished.
7. The food Across the length of Switzerland, the food you may be served will vary. In some places sausages are served in SALADS! They have British hash browns, just they call it Rosti. For lunch they would generally have a sandwich for lunch Then for dinner they’d have a HUGE meal!!
