1. My Neighbours
I live with my mum and our cat ‘Tiger' at
number 7. My grandparents live in the same
street at number 14. My dad lives in Spain
and I see him in the holidays. We've got lots
of friends near us and our neighbours are
very nice.
Mr. West lives next door, at number 5. He's
a pensioner. He is 65 years old. In the
summer he sits in his garden all day and
talks to everybody. He's very kind but he's
got a really horrible, noisy dog.
The Singh family live at number 9. They are
from India. They are really friendly. There are
four children, the parents and the
grandmother. The children go to my school
and Nazreen, their daughter, is in my class.
Her mum makes a delicious curry.
Mr. Meadows, the shopkeeper, has got the
shop on the corner of our street. The shop is
open every day from 8 am till late. It's got
everything: food, newspapers, sweets. Mr.
Meadows is unfriendly. I don't think he likes
teenagers in his shop.
