Our Story
Hello dear AIESEC,
For AIESEC in Peru it is a pleasure to apply for ING
Leadership Awards.
AIESEC in Peru has had a significant growth in
operations, but, most important, a significant change in
why and how we do things the way we do. In why it is
important to deliver leadership in Peru and engage each
single young Peruvian in a vision of a different country, a
more empowered and conscious one.
The road has not been easy, and we have learned a lot
from each single mistake, failure, success and good case
practices. Now we are ready for more and we are eager
to showcase what has made us successful in the past
and present.
We know we still have a lot of things to learn, improve
and innovate and we are striving each day to do so. We
are 420 young people running, and living, the AIESEC
way everyday because we believe this country needs the
leadership solutions we provide. We believe in a
better, empowered, transformed Peru.

Relative Growth
AIESEC in Peru has shown a constant relative growth in
all programs. Having decreasement in GIP programs at
some moments but recovering as fast as we could
respond.
For TLP, during term 12-13 we had many changes in our
Maturity Model, reflecting the decreasement we had in
this term.

Relative Growth in number of Local Committees
In 2013 AIESEC in Peru had a
strong
focus
in
SUs
implementing, for the first
time, this strategy and focusing a
lot in the improvement and
growth of SUs.
Being the first year for
SUs, AIESEC in Peru achieved 31
Xs, all of them within Outgoing
GCDP Program.

Relative Growth in number of Local Committees
Since 2012 AIESEC in Peru started a
massive
focus
in
expansion
processes achieving interesting
results.
During term 2012-2013 we focused in
expansion initiatives in 3 new cities:
Chiclayo, Trujillo and Tacna.
During term 2013-2014 we focused in
these 3 previous initiative, 2 of them
are about to become LC, and open
one new initiative: Huancayo
