Practice will be held at Central High School Gym
Practice starts Tuesday, November 12th from 6-8pm
Practices will be every Tuesday and Thursday from 6-8pm

3. AAU Wrestling is an all volunteer program for community youth’s. It
is an effective way to introduce unity and cohesion, all while
instilling discipline and work ethic.
WRESTLING REQUIRES A HIGH AMOUNT OF DEDICATION
AND MENTAL TOUGHNESS.

4. Wrestling is a form of combat sport involving grappling type techniques such
as clinch fighting, throws and takedowns, joint locks, pins and other grappling
holds. A wrestling bout is a physical competition, between two (occasionally
more) competitors or sparring partners, who attempt to gain and maintain a
superior position. There are a wide range of styles with varying rules with both
traditional historic and modern styles. Wrestling techniques have been
incorporated into other martial arts as well as military hand-to-hand combat
systems.

9. The hope is to influence these youths to successful wrestling high school
careers. Sports in school leads to better grades and higher college
participation rates.
