possesses dignity and reputation
with high moral values as well as
technical and professional
competence.
 Adhere to observes and practices a
set of ethical and moral principles
standards and values.
Is one who went through four to
five year period of rigorous
academic preparation in
teaching.
Who is given a license to teach
by the Board for professional
teachers of the PRC after
fulfilling requirements
prescribed by law such as
passing the LET.
 Registered in the roster of
professional teacher at the PRC
and undergoes continuing
professional education.

A professional teacher possesses
the following attributes:
 1. Control of the knowledge
 2. repertoire of best teaching practice
 3. Disposition and skills to approach
 4.View of learning to teach
Personal attributes
 Personality is the sum of ones personal
characteristics. It is ones identity,
Teachers, more than any other
professional. The momentarily subjected
to scrutiny to the minute detail and
observation by those they associated
with. Teachers are judged more strictly
than other professional. The personality
they project determines the impressions
they make upon students and
colleagues.
Other personal attributes that
has an impact on their
interaction with students:
 1. Poise
 2. bearing
 3. manner of dressing
 4. facial expression
Some outstanding personal qualities
that never fail to win their flock are
worth mentioning:
 1. Passion
 2. Humor
 3. Value and attitude
 4. Patience
 5. Enthusiasm
 6. Commitment
