2. Rocket
Rocket story is different to the other characters as
he does his best to avoid getting into trouble and
get out from under the gangs. He tries to seek a
good life, with money, a career and safety through
use of his camera he becomes a photographer.
3. Lil Dice/Lil Ze
As one of the rival gang leaders later in the film Lil
Ze overall plan is to gain power. This character
connect to the a central themes of poverty with him
growing up nothing and his hunger to gain wealth
through drugs.
4. Benny
Benny is a well liked character in the film who is know
as the top drug dealer and passes his business to Lil
Ze when he wishes to leave the city of god with his girl
friend Angelica. But unfortunately he is shot and dies
but help to provide Rocket his camera.
5. The Tender Trio
Shaggy, Goose and Chipper are the the tender trio who performed hold ups in the
earlier days. Chipper finds religion, Goose is killed by Lil Ze and Shaggy is killed
by police.
6. Carrot
Carrot is a one of the rival gang leaders who is the main
obstacles stopping Lil Ze from taking over the entire city
and teams up with Knockout Ned to hopeful to destroy Lil
Ze in all out gang warfare.
7. Knockout Ned
Knockout Ned is a seemly innocent character until
Lil Ze rapes and murders his family members. This
sends Ned into a downwards spiral of revenge
against Lil Ze, becoming person he hates.
