  3. Slide 3: The Big Idea (pages 78-79) Why having children and a family should be taken out of your plans for the future in order to save our planet.
  4. Slide 4: What’s in it for your audience? Explain why your topic is important or worth discussing. My audience must know the currently reality based on facts and where the world is headed if a change doesn’t happen.
  5. Slide 5: Why should your audience listen to you? Explain your ethos (personal experience, expertise, and credibility). My audience should listen to me because I am in the same position as them. I was raised in a family with a mom and siblings but have found myself questioning the future of having my own. Growing up finances we are a major issue and now with the state of the world the way it is I must ask if I want to burden my children with the same issues.
  6. Slide 6: Call to Adventure (pages 38-39) Instead of having children only to bring them into a rapidly changing world with problems bigger than ever. We should seek to stop the never ending cycle and correct the evil we have created.
