2. The Activities & Tasks
- assistance at the local kindergarten (outdoors). Playing with kids, helping the staff and being
ready for any kind of adventure
- Cooperating with the local Red Cross Askvoll at the elderly house by co-hosting Tuesday
coffee meetings and Thursday dinners
- Working at the local Montessori school. Art classes assistant and later on English and
Norwegian
- Attending the Norwegian class as a student and learning the language (voluntarily)
- Helping with some occasional tasks at the community
- Volunteering at the summer camp for the families with the low income (2 weeks in summer)

4. ✤ The project has taught me to be a very flexible person and love the mother-
nature even more. To enjoy the simplicity and to be grateful for the basic
things which maters
✤ The local community is incredibly generous and the people have so much
hospitality to give. I felt loved and supported by simply doing my job.
✤ I was lucky enough to be quarantined in a paradise, where I met a lot of
mental support from the local people and the gret outdoors which is always
available for everybody.
✤ I have taught myself a lot of useful skills like to make bonfire or what is the
best equipment to go for a long hike as to go fishing and hunting
✤ To be more tolerant and open with giving people time, space and freedom

5. Norway has a lot to explore
And Askvoll was the biggest discovery for me personally. The greatest place to feel big in a little community and to feel small
around the fjords and mountains
