The mission of the Florida Trust is to promote the preservation of the architectural, historical and archaeological heritage of Florida through advocacy, education and historic property stewardship. Advocacy The Florida Trust is entering its 25th year of statewide advocacy for legislation and funding that supports historic preservation. The Trust partners with the Florida Department of State’s Division of Historical Resources and has been instrumental in the development of the nation’s preeminent state funded preservation program.
