Evelyne Pénia Fodor holds a Ph.D. in French & Francophone Studies and a dual major BA in Comparative Literature and French from the University of California, Los Angeles. Her academic interest has been the social and literary impact of the Paris 19th century urban architecture, the “passages”. She is the recipient of multiple Fellowships and awards including the Robert Merrill Award for Best TA. Born in Lyon, France, raised in a North-African family, she later lived in Guadeloupe before moving to California.
