As the Fisheries System Developer since 2012 I have been responsible for the development and maintenance of FIGIS, the global information system of the Fisheries Department. I am the founder and lead developer of OpenSDMX, which is implemented at FAO corporate level. I am the founder of Cotrix, a tool for codelistmangement. Recently I have founded RefPub, a reference data publication system through RESTful webservices. I have greatly contributed to the harmonization of Fisheries metadata by defining new SDMX data structures that had not previously existed.
