Queendom is a mentoring program based in Baltimore, Maryland that aims to build self-confidence, teach etiquette, and promote community service in teenage girls. It pairs local girls ages 13-19 with positive female role models who meet regularly to provide support. Activities include etiquette training, character building, and service projects. The program culminates in a pageant-style closing event. Testimonials show Queendom has helped over 30 girls improve socially and academically by addressing needs like role models, prevention of risky behaviors, and empowerment.

16. The initiative of smoking in girls is associated with attaining desired self-image, feelings of maturity, independence, sexuality, health, and sociality. Frequent dieting is also found to increase the likelihood of smoking for girls in grades 7 through 12.
