2. • A 13 years old female
patient came to Out
patient Department of
Pedodontics and
Preventive Dentistry,
with the chief complaint
of non-eruption of upper
anterior teeth.

3. • No contributory medical history was found.
• Dental history – previously visited to a dentist

4. Patient was in mixed dentition &
Space loss between 11 and 22 .
Presence of talon’s cusp
on 22
Intra oral examination

5. OPG shows presence of
impacted dilacerated 21.
Upper occlusal view shows
dilacerated 21

6. Dilacerated
tooth
extracted.
Palatal and buccal mucoperiosteal flap elevated, bone removed by
micromotor handpiece and surgical bur

7. Suture given

8. After 1 week , suture removed.
