In addition to his accomplishments as a civil and criminal litigator, Donald Harwood served as the executive producer and production counsel for the independent film Frozen River. Donald Harwood prepared the film’s prospectus and talent contracts and arranged site location approvals, music licensing, product placement agreements, post-production agreements, and delivery clearances. Frozen River, written and directed by Courtney Hunt, Mr. Harwood’s spouse, received two Academy Award nominations, including one for best original screenplay. Donald Harwood is also a partner and founding member of Harwood Reiff, LLC, a New York-based boutique law firm.
