Editor's Notes

  1. Thank you for joining me to learn more about the Confident Inspired Woman Leadership Series. This presentation will cover the newest addition to the Series – Design Your Culture – Empower Your Team. The book is divided into 2 main sections, Design and Empower, each of which covers very specific information to assist you in creating a dynamic, engaged, impactful organization. Each installment of the series comes with a Book, Workbook and Audio Lesson Support.
  2. In Section 1, we will DESIGN your organization through the processes of INTENTION and INFORMATION. Let’s learn more about those.
  3. In the INTENTIONS section, you will discover how to create the organization you want, ON PURPOSE. When you have completed this section, you will be able to define the values that are most important to you and the project. You will expand your vision, magnify your mission, and create realistic goals to complete the work at hand. This section will assist you to develop a foundation that will provide stability for your future growth. Once completed, you will be able to clearly communicate the reasons WHY you exist and WHAT you intend to accomplish. You will also have a plan in hand to implement your strategies.
  4. The Information section covers the unique way women communicate. As you work through the section, you will learn how to deliver information in ways that resonate with women of all different learning styles. We’ll also talk about the different avenues that are available to deliver the information.
  5. Section 2 begins the discussion of Empowerment through the vehicles of INTERACTION and INFLUENCE. Empowering others provides you with the opportunity to develop new leaders within your organization. It is one of the greatest gifts you can give another person.
  6. Through INTERACTION, we will discover the ways to reach out to women of different generations and personalities. We’ll discuss ways to create an inclusive environment that will create community within the group. Within this section, we’ll also talk about the ways to recognize those who are doing things right and how to create a meeting to integrate all that you are learning.
  7. It is vital to create a culture that uses the strength it has developed to assist others. The INFLUENCE chapter helps you investigate the possible ways you and your organization can support others in its area of influence.
  8. The final two chapters deal with subjects that can stop the progress of your group. They are INTERRUPTION and IMPLEMENTATION.
  9. Every group has its ups and downs. A good leader will anticipate the challenges and develop strategies to work through them. The INTERRUPTION chapter assists you in diagnosing the problem and applying a solution.
  10. If you don’t have a plan to put the system into action, you will soon put the book down and walk away. This section provides a few very easy tools to assist you in making sure the time and effort you’ve put into learning how to Design Your Culture and Empower Your Team will not be wasted.
