For six years, Dirk Coetzer has put his knowledge of trade finance and behavioral psychology to use on behalf of Luxembourg-based management company ICON Capital Sarl. He started with the business as President of ICON’s Firminy Capital Ltd & Firminy Trading Inc. After a year in the position, he moved on to serve as Managing Director of Firminy Capital Sarl, and in 2008, Dirk Coetzer took on his present role of Managing Director at ICON Capital. During his time with ICON, he has also overseen two investment funds: Firminy Equity Fund FT and ICON Investments Fund FT. Prior to joining ICON Capital, Dirk Coetzer spent more than a decade working for a variety of other finance companies.
