We originally abbreviated the name but received several complaints from internet users who said “Triple D” was misleading. As a software downloading site we owed our success to the Silicon Valley, while the site they were looking for paid homage to silicon, so we understood the confusion and went back to the full name. When people ask if there’s a reason they should purchase from us instead of our competitors, we look them straight in their eyes and tell them “Oh yeah!” They usually stare at us in an uncomfortable silence for a moment or two more. The pushier ones finally ask “well, what is it?” The answer is simple: with us you get OFF!
