What does respect mean to me?
Respect is a human quality that everyone posseses in their selves. Respect is
something that everyone deserves as being a human on this planet respect can
diffrentiate in many ways such as listening to someone speak to you, pay attention to
teachers, listening to your parents demands and every just simply being nice to
someone you know or even strangers by holsding th edoor open for them. Respect in
out economy today isnt used as much as it should be simple because people thing their
"too cool" to have dignbity for them selfs or they feel that the person whoi is asking for
respect doesnt deserve it because the person is "mean" to them.
Respect in my opinion is a very imortant quality to posses starting from your
adolesence to your life as an adult. Also i think that anyone older then you should get
the respect they deserve because they are wiser then you since they have been alive
longer then you and have experienced somethings that maybe you didn't have time to
realize yet. Respect should never not be in the presence of any citizen of this world.
Respect in schools i think are one of the major issues we have in the world today.
Many children don't know how to give respect to adult or teachers simply ebcause their
parents don't teach them how to be respetful or maybe even because their parents
don't give their cnhildren the proper respect they need. In order for this problem to get
better the source needs to strat from your house and your family, the people you are

2. with most. Most of the respect problems we have in school is that the students would
mock or disobey the techers demands which makes eveyrthing worse for the student in
the end. For example a techer miht ask the class to be quiet and if they class doesnt
listen the techers feels a loss for respect so he or she might pull out demirit slips, etc.
Students sometyimes can't even goive respect to their classmates sometimes either
because they make fun of either other or even ignore them. One of the worst signs of
disrespect between students would be bullying.
Respect issuses in our houses is the main source of how we learn to act and to
recieve and give respect to everyone who deserves it. I know that at most of the houses
most children or teenages give their parents or gaurdians the respect they ask for
because they have the right to take away their privledges such as using their cell phones
or going out with friends. I think that this is one of the reasons why students dont give
as much respect to techers ratehr then their own parents because they know they can;t
take away them going out or using their phones.
In order for everyone to recieve the respect they deserve we should all give
respect to eachother so we can have it in return. If you don't recieve the respect given
back to you don't sweat it, the best thing you can do it to kill them with kindness.
